Meet Ayrielle
Ayrielle is an elementary teacher who especially enjoys supporting students in math and science. She loves the one-on-one nature of tutoring because it allows her to understand how each student learns and find strategies that help them succeed.
Ayrielle believes that small victories can make a meaningful difference in a student’s confidence. She meets students at their current level and helps them develop the understanding and skills they need to keep moving forward.
What Sessions with Ayrielle Are Like
Ayrielle begins by identifying what the student understands and where they are experiencing difficulty. She then works back as far as needed to rebuild the foundation before introducing the next skill or concept.
Her sessions may incorporate project-based learning, videos, visuals and engaging practice activities. Ayrielle has experience supporting students with ADHD and adapts her instruction to help each student remain engaged and successful.
Education & Experience
Ayrielle graduated from the University of Alberta with a degree in Elementary Education. Her classroom experience includes one year of part-time Grade 3 teaching, three months of Grade 2 teaching and substitute teaching in Grades 1–9.
She has experience providing modified lessons and assignments, working individually with students and communicating with families to create consistent support between home and school.
Beyond Tutoring
Outside of teaching and tutoring, Ayrielle enjoys horseback riding, softball, volleyball, ultimate frisbee and travelling to new countries. A fun fact about Ayrielle is that she is one day older than Google!
