Meet Teslim
Teslim enjoys seeing his students succeed and become more confident in math. He believes meaningful progress begins with understanding what the student already knows and identifying the specific gaps that are making the material difficult.
As a parent, Teslim has also created structured math-learning programs for his own children, using lessons and practice assignments to build understanding and independence.
What Sessions with Teslim Are Like
Teslim begins by assessing the student’s current knowledge and uses what he discovers to determine the strategy and pace of the session. He is careful not to overload students and regularly checks for feedback to ensure they understand before moving forward.
Teslim aims to make practice interesting and manageable while giving students the repetition needed to strengthen their skills.
Education & Experience
Teslim holds a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, completed with First Class standing, as well as a Master of Business Administration completed with distinction. He currently works as an Information Technology Engineer.
He brings at least five years of tutoring experience and has held technology roles with Rogers and the City of Saskatoon. Teslim is also proud to have completed a highly regarded professional IT certification in 2024.
Beyond Tutoring
Outside of tutoring and engineering, Teslim enjoys reading and hiking. He finds that time in nature helps him relax and appreciate the peacefulness of his surroundings.
