Meet Lukas
Lukas enjoys helping students recognize that they are capable of succeeding in challenging courses. Throughout high school, he regularly supported friends and classmates with math and science, including helping a friend improve his results while they prepared together for the Math 30-1 diploma exam.
What Sessions with Lukas Are Like
Lukas begins by learning how the student best engages with and remembers information. He then adjusts his explanations to make the material easier for that student to process.
Sessions may include simpler examples, large problems broken into smaller steps and practical memorization strategies.
Education & Experience
Lukas is studying Kinesiology at the University of Calgary and hopes to pursue a career in physical therapy.
He graduated from high school with Honours with Distinction and received the Foothills Composite High School Physics Award while also competing in rugby.
Beyond Tutoring
Outside of university and tutoring, Lukas enjoys woodworking, rugby and weightlifting. He also knows how to sail a two-person boat!
