Meet Anouk
Anouk enjoys meeting new people and sharing the joy of learning. With three years of tutoring experience and a particular strength in mathematics, she helps students approach challenging material with patience and a positive mindset.
Being someone her friends can depend on is one of Anouk’s proudest qualities. She brings that same supportive and reliable presence to her tutoring sessions, helping students feel comfortable asking questions and working through difficulties.
What Sessions with Anouk Are Like
Anouk tailors each online session to the student’s current coursework and learning needs. She provides clear explanations, works through examples and gives students opportunities to practise concepts with support before attempting them more independently.
Whether a student is strengthening foundational skills, preparing for an assessment or working through an advanced high school course, Anouk aims to make the material feel more understandable and manageable.
Education & Experience
Anouk is studying science at the University of British Columbia Okanagan and is interested in pursuing a career in scientific research.
She brings four years of tutoring experience and has worked as a grader at Kumon, where she gained experience reviewing student work and monitoring skill development. Anouk has also volunteered as a member of her school’s student union.
Beyond Tutoring
Outside of university and tutoring, Anouk enjoys music, painting and reading. She also speaks Dutch!
